Sinner extends his lead over Alcaraz as World No. 1, reaching 12,030 points, while Alcaraz drops 700 points after failing to defend his title. Despite the loss, the Spaniard remains atop the ATP Race to the Finals.
Meanwhile, Taylor Fritz rises to World No. 4, matching his career-best ranking and overtaking Jack Draper, who now sits fifth. Ben Shelton also reaches a new career high, climbing to World No. 9. Additionally, Andrey Rublev re-enters the Top 10 after moving up four places.
Elsewhere in the top 100, one of the week’s biggest movers is Italian Flavio Cobolli, who made an impressive run to the Wimbledon quarterfinals before falling to Novak Djokovic. Cobolli climbs five spots to reach World No. 19.
Finally, Brazilian rising star Joao Fonseca also hits a new career high, moving up to World No. 48 after reaching the third round in London. He was defeated by Nicolas Jarry, who jumped 47 places to break into the Top 100 at World No. 96 after reaching the fourth round for the first time in his career.
