For most of their history, the Duke Blue Devils have been the team everybody loves to hate. That may have to do with their long history of landing the best prospects.
That was especially the case this season, as they were arguably the team to beat in all of college basketball because of the plethora of future NBA talent they had in their ranks.
However, Bruce Pearl has nothing but love for coach Jon Scheyer. Thatās why, after watching Tyrese Proctor dominate with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he had plenty of praise for him.

Auburn basketball had 6 guys here, 5 with degrees and all with championships. They were all prepared and ready for whatās next as AuburnMen,ā he said, per Duke Basketball Report.

It takes more than just a good tactician to help and inspire young players, and Scheyer has clearly done a solid job in his brief time in charge of the Blue Devilsā basketball program.
Now, itāll be interesting to see how he works his magic and bounces back after losing so many players to the NBA Draft, including first-overall pick Cooper Flagg.
