BYU coach reveals AJ Dybantsa's most underrated trait

Months ago, the BYU Cougars shocked the world when they announced that AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 prospect in his class, was going to play for them in the upcoming season.

Some believe that Dybantsa could’ve been the first-overall pick in this NBA Draft, even ahead of Cooper Flagg, which speaks volumes about his potential and scoring prowess.

Nevertheless, as much as people get caught up in his physical tools and scoring prowess — and rightfully so — BYU coach Kevin Young thinks everybody should also pay attention to his playmaking skills.

“I don’t think people talk nearly enough about his passing. I think he’s really unselfish,” Young said.

NBA teams favor positionless basketball now, so players have to be much more complete and well-rounded, especially those who are projected to be taken as high as Dybantsa.
