The 2025 NBA Draft is just a couple of weeks away. As such, it’s officially time to fire hot takes and predictions about these young stars about to enter the toughest competition on Earth.
Notably, Oklahoma guard Jeremiah Fears has been one of the quickest risers on big boards. He led the Sooners in points (17.1), assists (4.1), and steals per game (1.6) while shooting 43.4% from the floor.
That’s why former NBA champion Mike Miller believes his game will translate to the pros almost right away. More than that, he thinks it won’t be long before he’s one of the best players in the league.

Of course, anything can go wrong in a player’s career, and there are many factors besides just talent and hard work that could make or break a player’s prospects in the league.
Then again, judging by his tape and his production, it’s easy to understand why a two-time NBA champion might be this impressed by him and optimistic about his future.
