All things considered, and despite a myriad of injuries, the Kentucky Wildcats have had a decent season in Mark Pope’s first year in charge, even if they’re not the team to beat.

The Wildcats have a long history of contention, and Pope knows they must live up to those expectations. Of course, that will all start with the SEC Tournament in Nashville.

They tied a record for the most top-15 wins in college basketball history with their win over Missouri. Now, they’re looking to keep their foot on the gas and get the job done in the SEC Tournament.

So we’re going to go chase it as hard as we can. It’s going to be a challenge from the get go. This league is so fantastic, but why would you want anything less?”
