The BYU Cougars will have one of the most exciting prospects in all of college basketball next season. AJ Dybantsa is either No. 1 or No. 2 in most rankings, and for very good reasons.
He looks like a big man trapped in a shooting guard’s body. He can pull up from all three levels, put the ball on the deck and lead the offense as a lead guard, or tower over everybody with his size.
However, that’s not what makes him a unique player. When asked about that, the young forward claimed that as much as he loved being flashy, he was all about making the right play first.
AJ Dybantsa wants to play the right way
“I think I’m a simple player, but I try to give the crowd what they want, but I try to play the right way,” he said. “I try to be efficient, try to take the right shots, but I mean, I try to give highlight plays, highlight dunks, threes.”

The BYU Cougars haven’t always had high-end prospects, but they will most definitely be a must-watch program for as long as Dybantsa is there, which will presumably be just one year.
