Billy Napier has managed to build a strong team last year, though despite impressive performances throughout the season and finishing with a positive record, they fell short of their goals. This year, the Florida Gators will look to improve their performance in the NCAAF, and DJ Lagway, the team’s main leader on the field, has warned their rivals about what they can expect to see.

During a recent appearance on Outta Pocket with RGIII, in a warm conversation with his colleague Robert Griffin III, the talented quarterback of the Gators acknowledged that, within his roster, there is a standout feature that’s hard to surpass: their offensive line.

ā€œI say the O-line. We got everybody coming back. I think the O-line is going to be the best in America,ā€ Lagway firmly stated. ā€œEverybody is coming back. I think we’re just missing one but everybody else is returners. It’s going to click right away. I’m excited. It’s going to be good.ā€

In this department, Florida had a great performance last season. The unit only allowed 20 sacks, the third-fewest in the SEC. Lagway didn’t hesitate to highlight one particular teammate above the rest.

Lagway’s enthusiasm for what’s to come

Although the College Football season is still some time away, many of the key players are already feeling the excitement for what’s to come. For the Florida Gators, quarterback DJ Lagway is one of them, and he firmly believes in what they can achieve this year.

ā€œObviously, it took some bumps in the roads, a lot of ups and downs this year,ā€ Lagway said. ā€œBut I feel like, at the end, we kind of pulled it all together and figured it out. Hopefully, we can put that momentum to the 2025 season.ā€
