The Milwaukee Brewers will be represented by three pitchers at the All-Star Game this year — including standout rookie Jacob Misiorowski, who is turning heads in his debut season and has already etched his name into the MLB record books before even taking the mound in the Midsummer Classic.
Misiorowski is one of three Brewers arms selected, joining Trevor Megill and Freddy Peralta. Of the trio, Peralta is the only one with prior All-Star experience — this will be his second career selection. For both Megill and Misiorowski, it’s their first time receiving the honor.
The Brewers are putting together a solid MLB season, currently sitting at 54–40. Misiorowski has been a key part of that success, posting a 4–1 record as a starter across five appearances. His most recent outing was a 3–1 win over the Dodgers at home.
What record does Misiorowski bring to the All-Star Game?
Misiorowski isn’t just one of the youngest faces at this year’s All-Star Game — he now holds the record for the fewest MLB games played by any player selected to the event. He has pitched in just five games for Milwaukee, totaling 25.2 innings prior to the break.
As Jeff Passan reported on X: “Milwaukee Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski has been named to the National League All-Star team. He has thrown in five games and has 25.2 innings pitched for his career. That is the fewest games ever played by someone named to the All-Star Game.”
Brewers trusting their arms
It’s not just Misiorowski performing — Milwaukee’s rotation has become a real strength. Misiorowski holds a 2.81 ERA while allowing just 12 hits in over 25 innings. Freddy Peralta is 10–4 on the year, and Quinn Priester has also emerged strong with a 7–2 record. Another standout rookie is Logan Henderson, who debuted this season and has gone 3–0 with a 1.71 ERA so far.
