Aaron Judge didn’t just lead the New York Yankees to another victory; he and his teammates showcased just how dangerous they can be after securing their fourth win of the season and positioning themselves strongly before even reaching the end of the first month of the 2025 MLB season.

After wrapping up the Yankees’ game against the Diamondbacks—despite losing the series but winning the third game—team captain Judge issued what felt like a warning, highlighting the team’s intense focus and determination for this year.

“We never exhale. We’ve seen it too many times in this game. It’s been our thing since the beginning of this year—don’t let off the gas. Keep scoring. Keep scoring until you get that final out,” said Judge, who appears to be on pace for 60 or more home runs this season.

During the game, Judge also achieved an exclusive record that only Babe Ruth accomplished back in 1932. Additionally, he contributed the first three runs of the game with a home run. In postgame interviews, Judge earned high praise from Chisholm Jr., who said about him, “He’s showing everyone why he’s the MVP and one of the best baseball players to ever play.”

The Yankees fell short in their second series of the year

Despite Aaron Judge’s optimistic remarks about the team’s strength and dominance—highlighting his remarkable home runs and the much-discussed torpedo bats—the Yankees struggled during the early games of their series against the Diamondbacks. The Bombers’ bullpen continues to show weaknesses, and these issues surfaced again in the third game, where they allowed 7 runs.

Judge seems unfazed by personal records

Even though Judge recently reached 500 career extra-base hits, his focus remains firmly on winning as many of the 162 regular-season games as possible. Reflecting his team-first mindset, he stated, “We gotta keep moving forward.” When asked about the milestone, he downplayed its significance, humorously adding, “I’ll look at it when I’m an old man coming to Old-Timers’ Day and we can joke about it and laugh about it.”
