Corey Kluber is one of the most coveted starting pitchers in MLB free agency, although last season wasn’t exactly the best for the former Cleveland Indians player. Kluber last played for the Texans Rangers, but he missed almost the entire season due to a Grade 2 teres major strain.

Now he’s ready to come back and is actually about to start bullpen sessions. Some teams around the league are ready to pursue the right-handed and the latest rumors suggest he could be headed to the Boston Red Sox

Kluber is about to become 35 and even though he’s spent two complex seasons in the Majors, he’s always drawing attention from around the league. Now things are getting better for him and some big teams could be trying to land him in the offseason.

Corey Kluber could join the Boston Red Sox

According to MLB.com reporter Jon Morosi, the Boston Red Sox are very interested in Kluber’s services this offseason. The Red Sox are in need of a starting pitcher and Kluber can fill that role with the team.

Last year, the Rangers declined his $18M option and now Kluber is trying to find a new home in the league. He hasn’t been healthy for about two years, but the last time he was in his best shape, Kluber posted some impressive numbers.

He recorded 215 innings with a 2.89 ERA, demonstrating he was one of the best players in the league. Now the Red Sox could land a 2x Cy Young winner and a player that can bring a lot to the team.
