LeBron James is entering a new NBA season where he will try to win his fifth championship. James has been with the Los Angeles Lakers since 2018 and even though his stint in LA didn’t start the best way, he’s turned things around and took the team to the promised land last season.

LeBron recently signed a new contract with the Lakers that will keep him on the team until the 2022/23 season. James is reportedly planning to join forces with his son, Bronny James, and this new deal puts him in a very good position to do it.

Everybody wants to see if Bron will fulfill his dream of playing with his son and as things stand right now, that possibility is very likely. Some people are watching Bronny as an improved version of his father, which is a lot to say, and the teenager is already drawing some interesting comments about his game.

Gilbert Arenas identifies the biggest differences between LeBron and Bronny James

In a recent appearance of The Complex Sports Podcast, Arenas revealed that Bron one asked him to ‘scout’ Bronny. The kid is seen as one of the best players in his class and the King wanted to know what other stars think of him. To Arenas, the kid is just like his father but has a couple of aspects in his game where he tops his pops.

“‘He’s you. From what I can tell right now, he probably has a better shot than you did. Dribbles better than you. You guys probably have the same passing ability. You are probably faster, taller. He probably jumps higher.’ And he said ‘Dead on!’”

“And I said, ‘The difference between you and him at this point is you needed basketball to get out of where you were getting out of. He doesn’t need basketball because you did it already.’”

Bronny is entering his sophomore year in high school and the hype is really high around him. The kid is ready to make a statement in the NBA when the time comes and given how good he’s perceived by current and former NBA stars, the future is bright for the 16-year-old baller.

We’re probably three years away from watching them together in the league and finally see how different and similar they are.
