Ever since he set foot on an NBA hardwood, countless fans and analysts have debated whether Kevin Durant is the greatest scorer in the history of the league. Honestly, he has the skills and silverware to at least try and back up that claim.

Recently, his former teammate Kendrick Perkins has constantly tried to put him ahead of Michael Jordan, pointing out Durant's physical traits and versatility as a scorer, while Jordan made the most of his damage from within close range thanks to his athleticism.

That's why a fan took to Twitter to put an end to the Durant vs Jordan debate, claiming that KD could have averaged as many points as Jordan if he wanted because he's 6'11 and can shoot over anybody.

Kevin Durant Says Michael Jordan Is God-Level

"You old heads drive me nuts. Michael Jordan is 6’6. @KDTrey5 is 6’11 can shoot from all three levels, 90% free throw shooter, and can ball handle and move like a point guard. If he wanted to get 35 a night like Jordan, he could. That is the definition of unguardable," the fan said.

As per usual, it didn't take long before KD replied, simply saying "Mj is one of one, God level, unmatched, unparalled, a pure master at this sh*t. I’m still watching his games to learn. Leave me out of it please."

Both have a valid point right here. Jordan is deemed the greatest scorer of all time because he holds the highest career scoring average (30.1 PPG) and won a league-high 10 Scoring titles (all of them consecutive).

Durant has the edge in terms of being a more versatile scorer thanks to his height and three-point shooting ability, but when it comes to footwork, no one beats MJ. That's why Durant wants no part of this conversation, but we can all agree that both are two of the greatest players to ever do it.
