Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most successful franchises in the NBA and also one of the most popular teams in the game right now. They have amassed a huge fan base that even features very famous people.

One of those fans is legendary rapper Snoop Dogg, also known as Calvin Cordozar Broadus, who hasn’t hesitated to show his love for the team, making fun of the rest of the team whenever he has the chance. You can say his favorite victims are Los Angeles Clippers, who have threatened to dethrone the Lakers in recent years but their attempts have been powerless.

Snoop has been very vocal about his animosity for the Clippers and during a recent interview, the rapper went with everything against them, stating that he wasn’t worried to see the Clippers making huge additions in the summer of 2019.

Snoop Dogg roasts Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers for being losers

Appearing on Stephen A. Smith’s new ESPN show, the rapper was asked if he feared for the Lakers’ supremacy in Los Angeles after Kawhi Leonard signed with the Clippers, but Snoop wasn’t having any of that.

“Laker to a Clipper? Man, I can’t be faded,” Snoop Dogg responded. “Come on, man, we’re talking about the Clippers. The team that has zero banners that are the opening night champions for 14 years straight have no banners, no nothing,” he added.

He talked a little more about the Clippers, showing his respect to the team but making it clear that he has no intentions of being friends with his crosstown rivals.

“Kawhi is a great player, Paul George is a great player, they got great coaches and the homies on their team, they do a great job, but they’re not the Lakers,” Snoop mentioned.

“It’s just something about the purple and gold man is like, they need to get a whole new stadium and get a whole new stigma because they’re never gonna win playing in our living room.”

This is pretty clear. Snoop Dogg is a die-hard Lakers fan and he’s not planning to be friendly with the Clippers regardless of how good they get every season. As things stand now, the Lakers are the rulers of Los Angeles and the Clippers still have a lot to prove.
