NBA insider Shams Charania has reported that Curry is expected to be sidelined for at least a week due to the injury. As a result, he will not be available for Game 2 in Minnesota, a significant blow for Golden State as they aim to maintain their momentum in the series.

The 37-year-old point guard managed just 13 minutes on the court in Game 1 before heading to the locker room due to injury. It seemed like the stage was set for a standout performance from Stephen Curry, who tallied 13 points, one rebound, and one assist in his limited time.

Despite Curry’s early exit, the Warriors delivered a strong team performance to secure the win. Jimmy Butler stepped up with a much-needed double-double, recording 20 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists.
