The Los Angeles Chargers are determined to get Justin Herbert all the help necessary to win it all. Hence, they brought offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel into the building, and now reportedly he could take two of the weapons into new heights.
Daniel Popper of The Athletic previously reported that tight end Oronde Gadsden could have a top-tier season thanks to McDaniel. Now, itâs been reported that Treâ Harris is poised for a bigger role, and that Ladd McConkey could âhave a bounce-back season in [Mike] McDanielâs offense.â
With the possible departure of Keenan Allen, Harris could slide into that role, while also opening quite a lot of options for McConkey. Per Popper, âI can see McDaniel maximizing McConkeyâs shiftiness and yards-after-the-catch ability on some of these same concepts.â
