The Cleveland Browns looked like their usual self in their Week 1 humiliating loss to the Ravens. Lamar Jackson and company had a feast with their defense, scoring 28 straight points and blanking them in the second half.
Baker Mayfield could only complete 21 passes for 189 yards with 1 score and 1 INT, with Odell Beckham Jr leading the team with 10 targets but just 3 receptions for 22 yards. On top of that, they had to send David Njoku to IR.
Joe Burrow was far from spectacular in his debut but he did manage to put his team in a position to win for most of the game. He completed 23 passes for 193 yards and ran for 46 yards and a touchdown in his debut.
The Bengals’ defense looks very improved although the Chargers aren’t exactly the most dangerous rival. Moreover, AJ Green looked rusty but is finally healthy, leading the team with 9 targets and 5 receptions for 51 yards.
