Aaron Rodgers has very attractive incentives in his new contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Albert Breer revealed the breakdown of all the money the quarterback could earn by meeting certain goals during the 2025 season.

“$500,000 if the Steelers make the playoffs. $600,000 for a wild-card round win with 50% play-time in the game OR a first-round bye. $750,000 for a divisional round win with 50% play-time in the game. $1 million for AFC title game win with 50% play-time in the game. $1.5 million for Super Bowl win with 50% play-time in the game. $1.5 million for winning the MVP award.”

The veteran signed a team-friendly deal with the Steelers to allow Pittsburgh to build a competitive roster capable of winning the Super Bowl. For example, the controversial contract extension that T.J. Watt is still waiting for.

What is the contract for Aaron Rodgers?

Aaron Rodgers signed a one-year contract with the Steelers worth $13.65 million. Of that amount, $10 million is guaranteed, and the total could reach up to $19.5 million if he meets all the previously mentioned incentives.

In an important detail, Breer’s report confirms that Rodgers must play at least 70% of the team’s snaps during the 2025 season to qualify for all those incentives in his contract.
