Aaron Rodgers considers himself a privileged player for having been part of two historic franchises: the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran acknowledged this during an interview on The Pat McAfee Show.
âYou got to say thereâs a few cornerstone teams in the NFL. I was fortunate enough to play for one of them for 18 years. Now, Iâm fortunate enough to be back on one of them. Thereâs only a few of them. Thereâs a history of excellence in Green Bay. Starting in the 20s and the run in the 60s. The stuff that we accomplished. Thereâs 13 NFL championships there. Pittsburgh had a run in the 70s with four championships and then Ben got two. Theyâve got six Super Bowls. Thereâs a history of excellence that comes with a team like this.â
The Steelers have signed Rodgers with the goal of contending for the Super Bowl. Despite the quarterback being 41 years old, Mike Tomlin is convinced that with a solid roster, they can surprise the AFC.
How many Super Bowls has Aaron Rodgers won?
Aaron Rodgers has won the Super Bowl once during his extraordinary career. Now, the veteran is excited to chase another ring with one of the most iconic franchises in the NFL.
âWhen the alumni comes back, you know the names. I think thereâs something special about that. When they can roll out a ton of Hall of Famers. Itâs a pretty cool deal and then you got a Hall of Fae head coach in Mike Tomlin.â
