Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce continue breaking records this week following the release of the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, in which the singer talks about her music, her new projects, her relationship with the tight end, and, of course, her strong connection with the Kansas City Chiefs.
For this reason, during an interview with The Pat McAfee Show, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt acknowledged the significant impact Swift has had on the team as the most popular fan worldwide.
āLet me just say how happy we are for their relationship. Theyāre an amazing couple and watching the two of them together is really special. That podcast was absolutely amazing. Itās been a whirlwind for the organization over the last two years since Taylor literally stepped into our lives. Sheās done an amazing job unintentionally of increasing our female fan base. We used to be about a 50-50 ratio male to female fan base. Now, 57% of our fans are female which I think is probably the highest in the NFL. Thereās absolutely been a Taylor Swift effect. I just should say my daughters couldnāt be happier that we have her as part of the Chiefs Kingdom now.ā
What type of security does Taylor Swift have?
Clark Hunt admitted that the Chiefs have had to make many security adjustments to protect Taylor Swift, but the owner shared a surprising anecdote about how, on her first day at Arrowhead Stadium, the singer decided to enter through the front door.
āItās been a little challenging for our security folks, but theyāve done a great job both at home games and on the road. Sheās attended a number of away games as well. They do a great job of getting her safely into the stadium. I think the most amazing thing about that first game, which caught us all by surprise, was the fact that she literally walked in the front door. We offered her some special security and she said: No. I just want to be a typical fan. Iām coming through the front door.ā
