It seems like even when the Las Vegas Raidersdo things right, they do it wrong. Now that they’ve gotten off to a great start of the 2020 NFL season, they could be under fire for breaking Covid-19 safety protocols.

The league had already issued some warnings and even fined Jon Gruden for not wearing a mask during their Monday Night Football clash vs. the New Orleans Saints but now, it seems like the NFL could take their actions even further.

The NFL is trying to enforce multiple protocols to prevent players, media, team staff, and coaches from getting or spreading Covid-19, yet it seems like some franchises just aren’t taking it that seriously.

Las Vegas Raiders Reportedly Broke Covid-19 Protocol

The league made it pretty clear that, until further notice, only authorized personnel would be allowed in the locker room. However, the Raiders allegedly allowed an unauthorized worker to enter the locker room during their game vs. the Saints, according to ESPN.

Thus far, justcoaches, medical staff, equipment staff, media relations personnel, security staff, the General Manager, and three front-office executives are allowed to enter the locker room.

Now, the league is reportedly investigating the alleged Covid-19 protocol breach and could enforce a huge financial penalty. Should they break the rules again, the NFL is definitely going to make an example out of them.

The Raiders were already fined $250,000 on top of the $100,000 Jon Gruden had to pay for not wearing a mask. The league is definitely not messing around with this and will only get more strict as the weeks go by.

The NFL is conducting daily Covid-19 testing and so far, just Atlanta Falcons’ corner-back AJ Terrell has tested positive andwill be the first player to miss a game due to the virus. Hopefully, that’ll stay that way until the end of the season.
