After 14 weeks of the NFL season, perhaps one of the biggest surprises so far has been the Kansas City Chiefs’ underwhelming performance, given their prominence in recent years. Andy Reid has struggled to get his team’s campaign on track, and many are already questioning whether significant changes should be made to the coaching staff.
Insider Adam Schefter appeared on The Pat McAfee Show, where he revealed that, while the Chiefs will evaluate all options at the end of this season, he doesn’t foresee major changes to the coaching staff.
“An organization is going to examine everything after the season. I think people expect Matt Nagy and Steve Spagnuolo to get head coaching interviews. I don’t think Kansas City is going to be making any big voluntary wholesale changes to its coaching staff.
“These guys are in demand. They’re respected. I don’t see that happening.“ Amid uncertainty about the future of these two legendary coaches, Schefter’s remarks suggest their positions could remain in Kansas City.
