The former Texas Longhorns player was one of the biggest bets at Lambeau Field after being selected in the first round with the 23rd overall pick. Now, Matt LaFleur will have a fearsome offense heading into the upcoming campaign.
But if there’s anyone who has truly shown excitement and anticipation about what they can achieve together on the field, it’s none other than Jordan Love, who, in recent statements to the press, shared his first impressions of his new teammate.
“He’s a great dude,” Love said, per The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman. “I’m excited to see just his potential on the football field. But just the start we’ve had, doing routes on air and things like that, he looks like a stud, looks like a very polished receiver, so I’m excited to see just how far he can take it.”

Jordan Love shared his initial impressions of his new offensive teammate, Matthew Golden, with the press, highlighting above all his speed and explosiveness when running routes on the field.
“The speed speaks for itself,” Love said to the press. “Running a 40-yard dash, any time you get a 4.2, that’s some blazing speed right there, so I’m excited to see how fast he is on the field. I’ve seen all the highlights, all the good stuff, so we’ll see once we get practice rolling and everything how good he is.”
