Patrick Mahomes knows who to credit for his success with Chiefs: ‘That kind of confidence is powerful’

Since his first year as a starter in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes has made the Kansas City Chiefs the most successful team in the league. With him as their quarterback, the AFC West franchise has never failed to make at least the AFC Championship Game. However, in an interview with People Magazine, Mahomes let it be known that it’s his wife the driving force behind his accomplished career.

When asked about it, Mahomes said “I admire my wife Brittany’s confidence.” He went on to say Brittany “always leads with strength and purpose. That kind of confidence is powerful; it pushes me to be better every day.”

Brittany and Patrick married in 2022. That same year, the Chiefs won the Super Bowl and Mahomes actually won the MVP. Talk about having a great year. With his wife, they now have three children together: Sterling Skye Mahomes, Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III, and Golden Raye Mahomes.

Patrick Mahomes confidence is at an all-time high

As Patrick himself said, “Confidence isn’t something that you just wake up with one day, it’s about staying committed to your goals, trusting yourself and the people around you.” Mahomes knows this is important both in life and on the field when playing for Kansas City.

Mahomes is still on his prime but his career is already an all-time great one. He has 6 Pro-Bowls, 2 MVPs, and 3 Super Bowls. As he said,staying committed to your goals is a way of gaining confidence. It’s safe to say Mahomes’ accomplishments speak to his sporting self-esteem.
