Bruce Arians and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ready to face Andy Reid, Pat Mahomes and co. next February 6 in the Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium. The Bucs will be the first team to play the biggest game of all at home but that shouldn’t please Arians or his players, who have a big challenge in front of them.

Tom Brady dodged a bullet against the Green Bay Packers last Sunday but now the task will be even harder for them, as they face the current NFL champions with a great coach and a great staff.

Arians opens up about the upcoming game and he made it clear that he’s not comfortable going against probably the best team in the league right now. He knows it’ll be a hard job to carry out but is confident in his team’s chances.

Bruce Arians says he’s not excited to face Pat Mahomes, Chiefs in Super Bowl LV

Chiefs and Bucs already squared off during the regular season and Kansas City left the field with a close 27-24 win over their February 6’s rivals. He will try to change things now but is well aware that he’ll need to bring his A-game.

“We’ll help a little bit more than we did in that ballgame,” Arians said on Monday while talking to the media. “You learn from mistakes and you learn from really good things, and there were some really good things in that game. We’ve got a lot of stuff to build on,” said Arians.

“This one, again, familiarity helps. I’m not really excited to play Tyreek Hill, Kelce and Mahomes. That’s a formidable challenge, but our guys will be up for it,” the head coach added.

The 68-year-old coach talked about what could be the key for the victory in this game, Chiefs’ TE Travis Kelce, one of the best players in his position of all time. Rob Gronkowski will start for Tampa but he’s not been as targeted as Kelce has in prior games.

“It’s really hard… He reminds me a lot of Tony Gonzalez back when he was unbelievable just trying to stop him.

“He’s got wide receiver skills and he runs like a wide receiver. He runs routes like a wideout, he beats corners. It’s a hard, hard challenge,” said Arians.

This will be a very exciting matchup and the head coaches are already heating things up. This must be a very good game for both squads, in a duel between two great teams, two great quarterbacks and two great coaches.
