It was just another magnetic Tom Brady performance that saw the reigning Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers blow out the Chicago Bears, who did not field 4 players due to COVID-19 protocol. Then Brady threw a pass to Mike Evans and converted the 600th touchdown pass of his illustrious career.

Mike Evans on the other hand was not keeping count and gave the ball away to a fan wearing his jersey in the stands, 29-year-old Byron Kennedy. Kennedy captured the moment on his cell phone and was shocked to be given the ball by Evans.

The ball is estimated to be worth $500,000, according to Ken Goldin, the founder of Goldin Auctions, andcould eventually be worth $900,000 in the future. Kennedy a diehard Buccaneers fan gave the ball back to Brady who in the post-game interview acknowledge the team will do something for the good-hearted fan, “(Kennedy) going to get something nice in return, so we’ll get him a helmet or a couple of jerseys or some other stuff. It was really cool of him to do that.” Here is what the Buccaneers will give lucky fan Byron Kennedy.

Byron Kennedy will get two signed jerseys and a helmet from Tom Brady. To go along with that Kennedy will get a signed Mike Evans jersey and his game cleats, $1,000 credit at the Buccaneers team store, and two season tickets for the rest of this season and next season as well.

While that may seem low for what the ball will eventually be worth, Brady was happy that the fan gave the ball back, as it is a remarkable achievement in the career of Brady to throw 600 touchdown passes. The above listed items are things the organization will give the fan, Brady himself has “something nice” planned for Kennedy as well.
