Tom Brady continues to cement his legacy as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers upset the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in the NFC Championship Game.
The Packers were 3-point favorites ahead of Sunday’s matchup but the Bucs hit the ground running and scored on their first drive. Green Bay managed to keep up the pace but Bruce Arians’ team was always ahead on the scoreboard.
Brady threw for three touchdowns in the first half of the game, including a 39-yard bomb to Scotty Miller with no time left on the clock to lead the Buccaneers to a 24-10 lead after two quarters.
Then, things got kind of rocky in the second half for Brady and the offense, as the 42-year-old quarterback threw three interceptions and opened the door for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to make it a game again.
Nonetheless, with little over two minutes left to play and down by 8 points, coach Matt LaFleur chose to kick a field goal on 4 & Goal from the seventh yard instead of trying totie the score with a touchdown and a 2-point conversion.
Brady and the Buccaneers made the most of the chance and – helped by a controversial, yet accurate call – they managed to run out the clock and become the first teamto play a Super Bowl in their own stadium.
Needless to say, as it happens with Tom Brady, the internet had a lot to say about this game, Brady’s legacy, LaFleur’s decision, the referees’ call, and everything that happened. Here, we gathered some of the best memes and reactions.

Tom Brady will now play in his 10th Super Bowl and will try to lead another franchise to the ultimate glory, but he’ll have quite a tough rival on either the Kansas City Chiefs or Buffalo Bills, so it will be easier said than done.
As for Aaron Rodgers, it’s starting to look like he’ll retire with just one Super Bowl ring, even though this time the one to blame should be the coach that put the ball right back on Brady’s hands with the season on the line.
