After 20 years at the top of the NFL, Tom Bradyis a living legend. Then again, perhaps his most impressive stunt didn't come on the gridiron or during his prime but partying on a boat at age 43.

Brady clearly had a couple too many drinks after winning his seventh Super Bowl and was the man of the hour in Tampa Bay. He was celebrating with his teammates and it looked like things could've gotten out of hand in the blink of an eye.

The legendary quarterback literally tossed the Vince Lombardi trophy from one boat to the other as if it were a football but gladly, he was right on the money and his teammate caught it, as it usually happens.

Tom Brady Admits He Doesn't Remember Tossing Away The Lombardi Trophy

So, when asked about that celebration during an appearance on the Late, Late Show with James Corden, Brady simply admitted that he wasn't exactly thinking straight at that time and that doesn't recall that moment:

“I don’t remember that quite as well!" Brady jokingly said. “First of all, I was not thinking at that moment. It was not a thought. It was, ‘This seems really fun to do. Not to mention, when you get your hands on one of those trophies, there’s a lot of really sharp edges on the bottom. (…) I found out later, had that been an incomplete pass, that would have went down like 80 feet. I’m so happy that Cam [caught it]."

Daughter Of Vince Lombardi Trophy Designer Wanted Tom Brady To Apologize

Even non-Brady fans thought that the trophy toss was pretty funny. However, Lorraine Grohs, the daughter of the trophy maker, felt it was disrespectful and even demanded an apology from Brady:

"It just upset me that this trophy was disgraced and disrespected by being thrown as if it was a real football. I have a big history of this trophy being made by my father, and it's such an honor, and I know all the craftsmen that made it when my dad was there also at Tiffany's and it takes a lot of hard work. I personally would like an apology, not just to me and my family and the other silversmiths but to the fans, all the football fans the other team players," she said.

Needless to say, that apology never came. I mean, when you've won seven of those, you can pretty much do whatever you want with them. So yeah, we can't wait to see what he'll do with number 8.
