Tyreek Hill admits he thought Patrick Mahomes was 'trash' in a hilarious confession

Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill are perhaps the deadliest quarterback-wide receiver duo in the world right now. In fact, Hill is currently leading the NFL in receiving yards and the second on that list is Travis Kelce, who also happens to play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

That should tell you a couple of things. For starters, the Chiefs have a pretty good offense. Also, Patrick Mahomes must be one of the best quarterbacks on earth right now is he’s able to put his top-two receivers at the top of the league’s rankings.

However, it seems like when Mahomes first entered the league, Tyreek Hill never thought that they’d develop that kind of chemistry. In fact, he never thought that Mahomes was going to be a good quarterback.

“I thought he was trash. I ain’t gonna cap. I ain’t gonna lie. When he first got there, I was like, ‘this who y’all drafted?!’ but hey, he proved me and- that second year, his quarterback mechanics were different. It was like he was spending more time with his quarterback coach, spending more time with Coach Reid, learning the offense. It was different,” Hill confessed on Inside the NFL.

Patrick Mahomes hilariously took to Twitter with the Nick Young meme in the aftermath of Hill’s statement. Later, Cheetah’ simply replied: “I love you man, you’re a GOAT,” so it’s pretty clear that he’s changed his mind.

Obviously, no one ever thought that Patrick Mahomes was going to turn out to be so good and dominant right away. Fast-forward to today and he’s now signed the largest contract in sports history and looks poised to become the greatest quarterback of all time. So yeah, Cheetah, it looks like you owe him an apology!
