The NHL can rest assured: hockey only continues to grow, and the evidence speaks for itself. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made their way to Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise to watch as the Florida Panthers battle with the Edmonton Oilers in Game 4 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final. While Kelce was seen wearing a Panthers hat, Swift has reasons to cheer for either team.
Thereâs definitely been enough bad blood between the Oilers and Panthers throughout this series and last yearâs showdown, too. Both sides are in search of the Stanley Cup, though for different reasons.
The Panthers will hope to enter their back-to-back championsâ era. Thatâs definitely a sentiment Kelce can rally behind, as he experienced such success in the NFL, hoisting consecutive Lombardi trophies, and falling at the gates of a three-peat.
The Oilers are looking to fill the blank space left in their trophy cabinet after last seasonâs defeat against the Panthers. That would definitely feel better than revenge, like Swift sang about in her album âSpeak Nowâ. However, if they are looking to connect with the players on the ice, both sides have names that might ring a bell for the Swift-Kelce couple.
A âSwiftieâ on the Panthers
Brad Marchand might be someone Swift and Kelce could cheer for during Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final. And thatâs not only because he plays for the team in redâwhose fans also happen to shout âREDâ at the top of their lungs during the national anthem. In addition to that, Marchand is actually a big fan of Taylor Swift.

Marchand revealed his three favorite songs in an interview with the NHLâs social media teamâWelcome to New York, Archer, and Tim McGraw all made the cut. So donât be surprised if those tracks are blasting in the locker room should the Cats take Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Meant to be?
Despite Marchandâs admiration for Taylor Swift, the Oilers actually have one player in their ranks who Swift might be a fan of. It didnât take long for Edmonton to bring back an old picture of Jeff Skinner and Taylor Swift, as the singer held on to the forwardâs jersey.
As fate would have it, Swift happened to be in attendance on the same night Skinner made his return to the Oilersâ lineup. Game 4 will only be Skinnerâs third postseason game. Not only this season, but in his NHL career. The former Buffalo Sabres veteran always dreamed of playing in this stage, but never in his wildest dreams would he had thought heâd be skating in front of Taylor Swift.
Itâs the Stanley Cup Finalâand as Swift would say, this is bigger than the whole sky. It feels like the endgame, and no one wants to miss it for the world. Not even Swift and Kelce.
