It’s a new era for Barcelona. Ronald Koeman, who took charge as manager a few days ago, has already told some of the club’s players that they won’t be needed for next season. Every club makes changes in its squadwhena new manager takes the reins of the team, but when one of those players is world star such as Luis Suárez, everything is different.

Koeman didn’t waste time and is already building the new Barcelona. And to do that, he wants to make some changes in the current squad, sidelining some of the players. Besides Suárez, the manager also told Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti that they should find a new club as they won’t be needed for next season.

Now, it’s time for these soccer stars to find new challenges, probably in other leagues. Suárez hasalready been in the Major League Soccer radar, but there are rumors that the Uruguayan strikercould return to the Premier League or even go back to Ajax in the Netherlands. Let’s take a look to these foud Barcelona players.

Luis Suárez is considered one of the best strikers in the world. He joined Barcelona in 2014 and, since then, he has won 13 titles with the Spanish team, including a UEFA Champions League and a FIFA Club World Cup.

Arturo Vidal

The Chilean midfielder joined Barcelona in 2018 after successful stints in Bayern Munich and Juventus. Vidal won two titles with the Spanish team, but he was never considered a key player for the squad. Now, he will have to find a new club.

Ivan Rakitic

After his last season, it’s not a surprise to see Rakitic out of Barcelona. The Croatian midfielder has spent six seasons at Barsa, winning all kind of trophies, including a UEFA Champions League and a FIFA Club World Cup.

Samuel Umtiti

Umtiti joined Barcelona in 2016, starting as a squad rotation player. He could never become a first team member, and now will have to find a new club. The central defender is still young and there will probably be a lot of teams looking to sign him.
