Brazil continue on their way to a back-to-back title in Copa America 2021 after knocking out Peru in the semifinals. Tité’s side beat La Blanquirroja 1-0 in a hard-fought game in which Lucas Paquetá‘s lone goal sealed La Verde-amarela‘s triumph.

The hosts have made it to their second-straight Copa America final on their own territory defeating the last edition’s runners-up. This time, it wasn’t such a comfortable win for Brazil, though, as Peru pushed hard to put things levelin the second half, but they came up short.
