The Copa America 2021 keeps delivering some entertaining matches. Peru won 2-1 over Colombia for Matchday 3 of Group B. It was a hard fought game between Los Cafeteros and La Blanquirroja. Ricardo Gareca’s side put things complicated for Venezuela and Ecuador, after their draw.

After losing their first game against Brazil (4-0), Peru came into this match wanting to get their first win. And they made the first stroke with a goal from Sergio Peña in the first half. Reinaldo Rueda’s team didn’t stay quiet and got the equalizer thanks to a goal by Miguel Borja from the penalty spot. But, sooner than later, Yerry Mina scored an own goal in the 65th minute.
