This weekend will be huge for the soccer world. Brazil will seek a back-to-back South American title in the Copa America 2021 Final against Argentina in what could be a special night for Neymar, La Canarinha's superstar.

The PSG player has stepped up in the current tournament to help Tité's side reaching the tournament decider at Maracana Stadium, having scored twice and providing three assists in five games so far. However, he still has unfinished business in this Copa America.

Even though he is undoubtedly one of the world's greatest players right now, Neymar hasn't always been at his best in the continental contest, which is why this edition means a great challenge for him.

Neymar seeking to seal an awaited Copa America triumph

Neymar played his first Copa America with Brazil ten years ago, when he was only 19 but already making impressive steps with Santos. However, he had never been able to celebrate a good finish in this tournament thus far.

Surprisingly, Neymar hasn't won the Copa America with Brazil yet. He suffered two early eliminations both in 2011 and 2015 in which Paraguay knocked La Canarinha out on penalties, and then missed the following two Copa America editions.

In 2016, he opted to play the Summer Olympics to fight for Brazil's first gold medal. Later, he was ruled out of the 2019 edition due to torn ankle ligaments, watching from the sidelines as his teammates lifted the trophy.

Therefore, the upcoming Copa America 2021 final comes as a huge opportunity for Neymar to bounce back and claim an important major tournament with Brazil's senior team.
