El Salvador and Guatemala will face each other this week in an international friendly. They met recently in another friendly in June that ended up in a goalless draw and then in the Gold Cup, that ended up in a victory for El Salvador (2-0).

La Selecta are playing the Final Round of the Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers, and they drew their first match against Honduras (0-0) and then lost 3-0 to Canada. Now, they can use this match as preparation before October, when they will face Panama.

Meanwhile, Guatemala is playing friendlies to keep gaining rhythm. After losing in the group stage of the Gold Cup 2021, the team faced Nicaragua on September 8. That match ended up in a 2-2 draw. Here, check out date, time and TV channel for the match.
