International soccer will make its comeback with the postponed 2020 European Championship this summer. The Euro 2020 is set to be the 16th UEFA European Championship. It takes place every four years and is organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

The competition was originally scheduled for June 12 to July 12, 2020. However, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was delayed for a whole year and is now rescheduled to start on June 11 and end on July 11, 2021.

Over the summer, some MLS sides would have to deal without their full squad as some of the players have been called up to represent their national teams. The national teams have yet to disclose their provisional and final rosters. Take a look at the MLS who will play at the Euro 2020.

Szabolcs Schon – Hungary / FC Dallas (preliminary squad)

Schon is still very new to the league, as he recently joined FC Dallas from Budapest FC. Through a brief time of transition, FC Dallas officials are adamant in their 20-year-olds, who netted nine goals and four assists in last season's 27 matches for Budapest. While Schon is currently on Hungary's preliminary list, it's likely that he will not be ignored for the final squad.

Daniel Gazdag – Hungary / Philadelphia Union (preliminary squad)

Gazdag is fresh to the MLS as Philadelphia Union announced his signing several days before the start of the season. Honved, the defensive midfielder, had 13 goals and 6 assists in 30 games. For the Hungarian side Honved, he was a top player who managed to mark 13 times and add six assists in 30 games. The attacking midfielder is on the preliminary list, but it's possible that he will feature at the tournament.

Lassi Lappalainen – Finland / CF Montreal (preliminary squad)

The 2021 MLS season is Lappalainen's third in the Major Soccer League and each year, he is proving to play an essential role for the team. While he is well adapted to the MLS, he's still new in Finland's national team, having debuted in 2019. Although he has played for various youth national teams, it remains to be seen whether he'll be included in the final roster.

Jukka Raitala – Finland / Minnesota United FC (preliminary squad)

After a wonderful season with the Canadian team CF Montreal, Minnesota United FC acquired the defender for the current season. In 2009, Raitala debuted for Finland and since then has capped for the national team on 51 occasions. Since his name was prominently mentioned, it is very possible that the veteran will be confirmed on the list.

Robin Lod – Finland / Minnesota United FC (preliminary squad)

The midfielder of Minnesota United started the new season with two goals and two assists in just five matches. He has become the cornerstone of the MLS team, which seldom starts a game without him. The midfielder has been on the international stage since his debut at the age of 20, in 2013, making 41 appearances since then. So far, Lod is just on the provisional list but he is expected to be part of the tournament.

Przemyslaw Frankowski – Poland / Chicago Fire (final squad)

This summer Poland will be presented with the Chicago Fire midfielder. In his tenure, Frankowski has been with the Fire since 2019 with eight goals and 10 assists, and it has made him part of the great MLS project for Chicago. This season, he has started all five games for his side.
