Jadon Sancho to Manchester United without question would be the transfer of the Premier League season if it can get past the finish line. The English winger has been a target of many big-name clubs in England, but it has been the Red Devils that have never given up hope in singing Sancho.

According to the Daily Mail, Borussia Dortmund is in a tight financial situation, and a big transfer for the 21-year-old would help alleviate the books. Sancho has been at Dortmund since 2017 and has played in 104 matches and scored 38 times, winning two titles in that stretch.

Borussia Dortmund is not sitting idle either, if Sancho is sold, the German giants have lined up a possible replacement once the transfer clears at a bargain price. Here are the details of Jadon Sancho’s move to Manchester United and what Borussia Dortmund is doing in the meantime.

Once the transfer clears, Borussia Dortmund already have a replacement lined up for Sancho and that is Netherlands forward, Donyell Malen. Malen would command a considerably lower fee of £25 million.

At 22, Malen has played his whole career at PSV, and has an incredible scoring rate of 40 goals in 81 league games. Dortmund will have to act fast since Liverpool is rumored to have Malen on their shortlist.

At the moment, both Malen and Sancho are with their respective national teams competing in the Euro 2020 championship. Sancho has only played six minutes in the competition, despite a sensational season at Dortmund.
