It seemed like Lionel Messi playing forPSG after leaving Barcelona would be stealing all the headlines this season, but he might be joined in the newspapers’ front pages by Cristiano Ronaldo if he ends up joining Manchester City. According to Sky Sports, the Premier League side wouldoffer the Juventus stara two-year, €15 million salary per season.

No one would have seen this one coming givenCristiano’shistory with Manchester United and considering he still has one year left of contract with the Serie A giants. However, the Portuguese forward apparently doesn’t want to stay in Italy any longer and is set for areturn to England.

While the bombshell news are all over the Internet, City and Juve will first have to reach an agreement to make this move possible. The Sky Blues would be unwilling to spend the price tag the Old Lady have set for Ronaldo.
