Mexico National Team's preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 got off to a good start with a 2-1 win over Nigeria at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. With this result, Mexico maintains its undefeated status against the Super Eagles.

Gerardo Tata Martino, El Tri's coach, sent out a lineup full of young players who played the match with intensity and commitment, knowing full well that they are playing for their last chances to make the final list of players that the Argentine coach will take to Qatar 2022 at the end of the year.

After this victory, Mexico has to turn the page quickly, as they don't have much time to celebrate as they have four more games to play in less than 15 days. Their next opponent will be Uruguay, which they will face at State Farm Stadium in Arizona. A tough opponent, as both El Tri and the Charrúas want to get the best out of the game in order to be as well prepared as possible for Qatar 2022.
