PSG handed Lionel Messi one of the biggest losses in his career. Inter Miami left it all out on the field but they couldn’t stop the French side, which comfortably booked a ticket to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
With a 4-0 win, the reigning UEFA Champions League winners sparked hilarious memes and reactions on the Internet. It only took five minutes to see PSG take the lead, with Joao Neves scoring a header to pave the way for the victory.
The same player made things 2-0 after 39 minutes, but Inter Miami would get themselves in a bigger hole just before halftime. In the blink of an eye, PSG went to the break leading 4-0.
An own goal by Tomas Aviles after 44 minutes saw Luis Enrique’s men extend their advantage to three goals, with Achraf Hakimi sealing the lopsided result just before the end of the first half.

PSG played calmly in the second half, holding on to their comfortable lead to qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 quarterfinals. Their win did give plenty to talk about on social media.
