Clubs don’t stop tracking players even when the transfer window is closed. In fact, they usually take this time to look more carefully on potential signings. The likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City may prove that.

Not only because they’re some of the most prominent clubs on the continent but also due to a recent report that links them with a Bundesliga sensation. All of them have reportedlyset their sights on thiswonderkid who has made an impression early in his career.

But these European giants will have to consider how serious is their interest for this player as his value wouldn’t be lower than €100 million. Those are impressive figures for any transfer, let alone for an 18-year-old – but his club seems to be firm on this stance.

Nonetheless, if these mighty sides eventually prove to be truly interested in this move and arewilling to spend the €100m, the outlook could be different. Wirtz has begun the 2021-22 season on the right foot, scoring six goals in eight appearances. He still has a promising career ahead of him, but a number of high-profile clubs are already after him.
