Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are leaving behind football, at least for a brief time. The Kansas City Chiefs players will switch from sport to face Golden State Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Football is not the only thingPatrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are interested in. The Kansas City Chiefs players will switch from their regular sport to face Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors super stars.

The 2022 NFL season was incredible for the Chiefs. They managed to win the Super Bowl LVII against the Eagles, with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce as the team’s biggest stars.

In the NBA, the Golden State Warriors are trying to defend the title they got last year. They are currently in the Playoffs, with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson once again as the main figures of this successful squad.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce will matchup against Steph Curry and Klay Thompson

Since 2017, the Chiefs have absolutely dominated the AFC West. The team was able to build a great roster, but it is known that the most relevant pieces for their offense are Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

On the other hand, the Warriors have also created a dynasty in the NBA since 2015with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. They have won four league titles together, and they are looking to add one more ring to their hands this season.

But what do Mahomes, Kelce, Curry, and Thompson have in common? Golf. These players are passionate about the sport as a hobby, but now they will take it to another level.

The four players will be part of the Capital One’s The Match, a 12-hole golf course. This showdown will take place at The Wynn Las Vegas on Thursday, June 29, and it will be broadcast liveon TNT at 6:30 p.m. ET.
