After teen sensation Jakub Mensik surprised Novak Djokovic to win his first Masters 1000 title in Miami, it’s safe to say that the ATP tour is entering a new era. While the Serbian is still looking for his 100th title, the Top 10 players are struggling and a new generation of players are stepping in. Here are the most important moves in the ATP rankings ahead of the clay season.

Mensik, who is the first Czech to win an ATP Masters 1000 title since Tomas Berdych in 2005, has now reached a new career high of No. 24, after moving up more than 30 positions. However, he is not the only youngster to have moved up in the rankings.

Arthur Fils is now World No. 15, after defeating Alexander Zverev in the fourth round to reach his second Masters 1000 quarter-final in Miami. British player Jacob Fearnley, 23, also moved up more than 10 positions to reach a new career high of No. 73.

Meanwhile, in the Top 10, Jannik Sinner, without playing, is still comfortable at the Top of the Rankings after Zverev’s elimination in the quarter-finals. The German, Carlos Alcaraz, Taylor Fritz and Djokovic maintain their positions.
