Jannik Sinner is set to part ways with his current coach, Darren Cahill, at the end of the 2025 season. Cahill announced earlier this year that he would be stepping away from professional coaching, with Sinner being his final pupil.
While the World No. 1 has yet to reveal who might replace Cahill, a report from Russian outlet Bolshe! suggested that Carlos Moya, the former coach of Rafael Nadal, was in line to take the job for the 2026 season.
Moya, however, was quick to refute these claims, clearing the air during an interview on Spain’s Radio Nacional. “Me as his coach? Fake news as big as a house,” Moya said bluntly.
The Spaniard did, however, leave the door open for a potential return to coaching down the line. “Maybe in a few months or a few years, I’ll change my mind, but right now, I’m enjoying this moment,” Moya explained. “After so much time traveling and competing, a detox period was a good idea. I’m not bored at all”.

Djokovic reveals ‘new’ coaching setup ahead of Roland Garros
Novak Djokovic, currently without a full-time coach after parting ways with Andy Murray, has unveiled a temporary coaching arrangement for his upcoming tournaments.

Ahead of his debut at the Geneva Open, Djokovic announced that Dusan Vemic and Boris Bosnjakovic would fill coaching roles during the ATP 250 event in Switzerland and at the Roland Garros.
“Dusan Vemic, who is actually [the Serbian Billie Jean King] Cup captain — but he was part of my coaching team years ago with Marian — he’s here, so he’s going to be here with me in Geneva and Roland Garros,” Djokovic confirmed.
He also mentioned Boris Bosnjakovic, saying, “And Boris Bosnjakovic, who is my assistant coach and analyst as well, so they’re both going to kind of share that role for the next couple of tournaments and then we’ll see”.
Finally, the 24-time Grand Slam champion, chasing his milestone 100th career title, made it clear he’s in no hurry to name a new coach and is comfortable moving forward with the current team supporting him for the next two events.
“I don’t have any rush to choose whether I’m going to have someone or not, I don’t know. I don’t know at this moment,” Djokovic stated. “I’m fine with these guys, and I’m happy with the way it is. Then we’ll see after Paris”.
