A series opener between the Oakland Athletics (15-22) and Minnesota Twins (20-15) is scheduled for Monday at 9:40 PM ET, at Oakland Coliseum. Chris Archer (0-1) is the starter for the Twins, and Zach Logue (2-1) for the Athletics.

The Twins secured a 3-1 win against the Guardians in their last game yesterday, with Joe Ryan throwing six innings, giving up one earned run on four hits while striking out five to earn the win for his squad.

The Athletics enter the matchup after losing yesterday, 4-1 to the Angels. Frankie Montas went six innings, giving up two earned runs on four hits while striking out 12 and took the loss for the Athletics.
