Two clubs on top of their divisions -- the New York Mets (NL East) and the St. Louis Cardinals (NL Central) -- clash on Monday at 7:45 PM ET, at Busch Stadium. The Mets will give the start to Max Scherzer (3-0), and the Cardinals will turn to Miles Mikolas (1-0).

The Mets won 6-2 in yesterday's matchup against the Diamondbacks. Tylor Megill was the winning pitcher in the contest after going 6 2/3 innings, giving up two earned runs on five hits while striking out seven.

The Cardinals take the field after losing 4-1 to the Reds yesterday. Adam Wainwright was the losing pitcher in the contest for the Cardinals. He threw five innings, giving up four earned runs on eight hits while striking out three.
