Thatās why, during an interview with ESPN, Caitlin admitted she felt great and warned that this is the kind of basketball the Fever can play to fight for a championship in the WNBA.
āI feel strong. I thought we played a good game. I think thereās a lot that we can still improve on, which is really positive for us, but, thatās how the Fever are supposed to play basketball. Uptempo, unselfish and working for your teammates. Iām really proud of our group.ā
What injury did Caitlin Clark have?
Caitlin Clark suffered a left quadriceps injury, but at least in the game against the Liberty, the Fever star looked fully recovered. On social media, the biggest sign of that came during an incredible sequence of three consecutive long-range three-pointers.
āIt felt good. I saw three in a row go in. So, that gives you a lot of confidence. I didnāt feel rusty. I think youāre just a little anxious to get out there and play again. I felt in good shape. Today, we really stuck together. We went on our own run.ā
