The Chicago Sky are looking to snap a four-game losing streak when they face the Seattle Storm on Tuesday night at Wintrust Arena. A major factor in that skid has been the absence of their star, Angel Reese, who has been sidelined with a back injury. But thereās optimism in Chicago that her return could come tonight.
Reese has been dealing with back issues since the All-Star break, appearing in just two games since the season resumed and missing the Skyās last seven contests. On the teamās latest injury report, she was upgraded to questionable against Seattle.
Adding to the positive signs for Reese, head coach Tyler Marsh noted that she finished yesterdayās practice well and felt good during todayās shootaround. However, he stressed that her availability for tonight remains a game-time decision.
āShe looked good in practice yesterday and she came in today feeling pretty good at shootaround. Spirits are high and theyāre hopeful. It is a game-time decision for her to play tonight but itās looking pretty good right now,ā Marsh said via Chicago State of Mind Sports.
