Trevor Lawrence is getting another shot to showcase his full skill set in the NFL, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are doing everything they can to support him. Following the addition of Travis Hunter in the latest Draft, the quarterback now knows he’ll have two more weapons joining him on offense.
The latest news points to the addition of two new wide receivers to Liam Coen’s offense — both coming from the college ranks. Undrafted during the NFL Draft, these players are now getting a second chance to make it to the league with the Jaguars.
Explosive wideouts Dorian Singer and Darius Lassiter have agreed to join the Jaguars, adding firepower to a young but highly talented receiver room looking to help Trevor Lawrence take the next step on offense.
The news was officially announced through the Jacksonville Jaguars‘ X account (formerly Twitter): “We have agreed to terms with two undrafted free agents: WR Darius Lassiter and WR Dorian Singer.”
The Jaguars make a significant move
The Jaguars continue making key decisions with the future of the franchise in mind, and this time, one of their most prominent linebackers could be impacted by what unfolds in the coming months.
Devin Lloyd, who played a key role for the team last season, will not have his fifth-year option picked up — meaning the linebacker is set to become a free agent in 2026.
The news was reported by NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, who took to his X account (formerly Twitter) to reveal the Jaguars’ decision regarding the future of their talented linebacker.
“The #Jaguars are not picking up the fifth-year option for linebacker Devin Lloyd, per source. He is now set to hit 2026 free agency. Lloyd was productive last season with 113 tackles, two sacks, one interception and four pass deflections,” the insider reported via @JFowlerESPN.
