When the night was falling, the Minnesota Vikings announced Jauan Jennings signed a one-year deal, worth around $8 million with them. The deal could go up to $13 million. Hence, one of the most talented free agents in the wide receiver position has found a home.
With that, the Vikings have an argument for one of the deepest WR rooms in the NFL. Their first option is clearly Justin Jefferson, but now they have Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings. What head coach Kevin O’Connell can do with these three is just very inspiring to see.
For more depth, the Vikings have Tai Felton, Jeshaun Jones, Dillon Bell (UDFA), Dontae Fleming, Myles Price, Joaquin Davis, Shaleak Knotts, Luke Wysong, and Marcus Sanders Jr.
Vikings WR cover all things football
Justin Jefferson is the all-elite receiver, exceling in basically everything. Routes, skills, hands, Jefferson has it all. Addison is more of a deep threat, with great speed and ability to get separation.

As for Jennings, he is a big slot receiver, with incredible hands, and contested-catch radius. All three are very talented and will help either Kyler Murray or JJ McCarthy to excel at quarterback.
Kevin O’Connell will do wonders with the WRs
KOC is a genius when it comes to scheming and getting WRs open. His concepts force defenders into an “either-or” situation which makes them hesitant. He also adapts very well to situations.
Not only that, but his style is one to make the quarterback stay in rhythm and find a flow. With good route runners, it’s easier for the QB to execute and stay hot. The Vikings offense will be one to watch.
