Slowly but surely, the upcoming 2026 NFL season is beginning to take shape, and the games that will be played outside the United States were recently announced. The Pittsburgh Steelers will play in France, while neither the New York Giants nor the Kansas City Chiefs will play abroad.
For the first time in history, the league will have one game in Paris, another in Melbourne, and also one in Rio de Janeiro, given that in 2025 the venue in Brazil had been Sao Paulo. In addition, three games will be played in London. Although it was expected that the Giants might play in Germany due to their HMA (Home Marketing Area), this was ultimately ruled out.
Mexico City will host its long-awaited game after several seasons of absence, and there will also be a game at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, as well as in Munich. Unfortunately for Chiefs and Giants fans around the world, they will not be able to enjoy watching their teams this season.

The Giants and Chiefs experience outside the USA
Both the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Giants have had the privilege of playing in front of their fans outside the United States on several occasions. Although they will not be part of this process in 2026, the G-Men and Chiefs Kingdom have previously played multiple games in cities such as London, Mexico City, and Frankfurt.
